Mine would have to be Pan's Labyrinth. My husband very kindly sat with me when the lights in the cinema went up while I tried to collect myself! Oh dear...

I am a stepmom of 3 boys and that movie always gets me. It got them too and when it first came out my oldest who is now 27 called me crying.

I've seen most of these and I cried too. Especially Beaches and Steel Magnolias. Gets me every time.

I haven't seen Reign over me yet, but I just KNOW it is going to make me boo hoo all over the place.

Pan's Labyrinth got me, too, but only the first time. I love that movie!

And Ivan, you should check some of them out...they are great films.

Melissa--I have only seen parts of Pay it Forward...and none of them were happy.

Schindler's List is great. Galdiaor was junk. I haven't seen the rest.

nicholas--sorry you didn't like Gladiator. I thought, from the standpoint of the epic and the idea of a tragic hero, it was a well done film....and it does make me cry each time I watch it.
